Time Capsule
Our project aims to support and build community through supporting local businesses while also taking the time to learn about the culture of our school and neighborhood.
Outcomes
Community Learning
Girls build leaders gathered classmates and community members and explored local business to learn more about the community and culture.
Reflection
After learning about the community, members wrote notes and ideas on how to support women owned businesses. Notes were placed in the time capsule along with keepsakes.
Time Capsule
After gathering notes and community keepsakes, we then closed our time capsules with the intention for future girls build clubs to open it.
